CPRSX Philippines

On the invitation of Mr. Carl St Martin, an Australian Foundation Member of CPRSX with Mango Farming and business interests in Guimaras and Iloilo, the Australian registered Carbon Pollution Reduction Scheme Exchange Pty Ltd (‘CPRSX’) established a permanent presence in Lucena City Quezon Province in May 2013.  CPRSX was joined in 2013 by a core volunteer management team included Mr. Willie Manlogon (deceased 2015) and Mr. Daniel Azolla, Mr. Jonathan Piedad, Mr. Paul Lumactod (left CPRSX in 2014), Mr. Ponciano Esguerra, Mrs. Gladys Mayo, Miss. Reah Almirez, Miss. Corazon Saludo (left CPRSX 2014), Miss Gerlie Manlinguis and Rizza.

The Filipino team developed widespread alliances and relationships in the Philippines, with landowners, Indigenous People, agro- forestry producers, remote farmers, local associations, Municipal and Provincial Governments. There success was achieved through personal commitment, hard work and sacrifice. The team travelled to many part of the Philippines, often staying away for days for the purposes of delivering information and training sessions, underpinned by the principles of Free and Prior Informed Consent.
