The Climate Funding opportunities available for CPRSX arise from our expertise in assessing the drivers of deforestation, forest degradation, identifying commercial opportunities related to forest carbon conservation and management. CPRSX developed a unique forestry, land-use-change and natural soil regeneration project which will deliver increased carbon sequestration and socioeconomic benefits where they did not exist before.
Our work takes advantage of cross-sectoral expertise by attracting partners and collaborators with like minded objectives. We welcome collaborations that enhance the prospects to scale up objectives to commercialise climate change, global warming, carbon sequestration and emissions trading underpinned by our REDD+ and Protected Food Production projects
In the Philippines our REDD+ projects are catalysts to enhance their Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) towards climate change mitigation and adaptation. Our methodologies for enhancing the benefits of Agriculture, Forestry and Other Land Use (AFOLU) are important elements of our project plans, as are the many landowner JV Partnerships we developed over the last 14 years. We are now ‘action ready‘ to mitigate and adapt to climate change; which are integral to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and its 17 global goals. The REDD+ mechanism contributes directly to achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 13 and 15 which address climate change, reducing deforestation and sustainable use of ecosystems.
As our REDD+ projects come to life after COVID obstacles are overcome, we anticipate planting in excess of 35 million trees across our JV Partner’s Ancestral Domains. This plan enhances CPRSX’s long term carbon sequestration and emissions trading prospects. We know that only through the development of sustainable revenue streams can we eliminate poverty, hunger, marginalisation and provide employment opportunities where they did not exist before.
While CPRSX waits for the Philippines to overcome the COVID related health obstacles and enhance their national vaccination program to rural provinces, we encourage potential collaborators to consider whether or not they wish to join with CPRSX in what we believe is the largest project of this kind and one which enjoys 100% unfettered support from all local and National governments in the Philippines.
