Bom Group of the Netherlands has a reputation as greenhouse design and construction innovators. CPRSX partners with BOM Group because they are leaders in automated climate control and management systems which include internal food crop transport, lighting, energy and water management. Their computerised sensor and environmental management systems are automated to control heating, cooling, air flow, humidity, water filtration, CO2, screening, photosynthesis, pests and pollination. These technologies are designed to deliver high yields and maximum nutritional values.
Our Protected Food Production Projects are underpinned by the concept of ‘fencing off’ the external climate and environment. The human made growing environment and atmosphere rely on specialised growing mediums in place of soil to match each food product. Water consumption is reduced by 95% compared to open air farming. Each greenhouse has an internal growing area set aside for education, research and skills development for our interns, students and workers.
