Climate Change Adaptation

Global emissions of greenhouse gases are rising despite the global commitment to cut net global emissions to zero by 2050. Emissions will continue to increase for many decades and average global temperatures will climb. As the climate heats up it will cause more frequent and extreme heatwaves, droughts, floods and coastal erosion from rising sea levels. Climate Change Adaptation is unavoidable.

The UN Development Program calls it a process by which strategies to cope with and take advantage of the consequences of climatic events are enhanced, developed, and implemented. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change describes it as adjustment in natural or human systems in response to actual or expected climatic stimuli or their effects, which moderates harm or exploits beneficial opportunities; which is exactly what CPRSX is doing. Investing in climate change adaptation is the most important way to deal with global warming and climate change.

CPRSX’s climate change adaptation plans are sustainable, viable and represent a commercialised methodology whereby income and revenue streams will rise and enhance community wellbeing by delivering new forms of education and entrepreneurial opportunities. CPRSX will change the way food crops are grown, the way agricultural water consumption is managed, the way soil is detoxified and regenerated from decades of chemical fertiliser and pesticide use. We will overcome unsustainable reliance on chemical pesticides and fertilisers which seep into waterways and degrade water quality and harm marine life.
