Indigenous and Landowner Joint Venture Partnerships

CPRSX formed hundreds of JV Partnerships with three distinct groups of Filipino landowners, all with secure tenure. The first group consists of small-scale and subsistence farmers whose land areas are less than 100 ha. The second group are formally recognised Indigenous communities that have obtained Ancestral Domain land grants, commonly thousands of hectares for each grant. The third group are those that obtained land grants under the Philippines Agrarian Land Reform Program with land areas around 5 ha each.

The CPRSX Climate Change Action Plan ™ calls for the developing of the first REDD+ Carbon Sequestration forestry project on 139,000 ha within one Ancestral Domain, wherein the REDD+ project will systematically accomodate 20 adjoining plotted areas with road access, lower implementation costs and faster financial returns through carbon sequestration and emissions trading.

CPRSX commissioned an independent Feasibility Study and cashflow forecast and modelling. They show that this our first REDD+ project is valuable and will generate substantial revenue. The feasibility Study estimates carbon stock at 139,000,000 tons. All permits from this project are now subject to advanced pre-sales pricing and terms negotiations with a global financial institution.

Despite the below current market value offer from this institution, financial forecasting estimates that break even will occur at year 6 with a net income of USD $27.6 million over the life of this REDD+ project; known as Project Eden. Following implementation of Project Eden, CPRSX will replicate this REDD+ project on our other contracted Ancestral Domains with our JV Partners.

Every REDD+ project planned for the Ancestral Domains include implementation of our Protected Food Production Program, which is underpinned by the transfer of our JV Partner owned small-scale farms into CPRSX greenhouses, and subsequent detoxification with BioChar of the redundant farmland soils for reforestation and more REDD+ projects for additional carbon sequestration and emissions trading actions.
